Calendesk privacy policy
What is accessed. When you link a clock, Calendesk asks Google for read-only access to your calendars (calendar.readonly) and your email address. The clock reads upcoming event titles, times and calendar colours to display them on its screen. Nothing is written to your calendar.
iCloud. If you link an iCloud calendar instead, you give the clock your Apple ID and an app-specific password. This server checks the pair against iCloud once (a single CalDAV request) and then hands it to the clock in the same way as a Google token: kept in memory for at most ten minutes, never written to disk.
What is stored, and where. The sign-in token Google issues, or the iCloud app-specific password, is handed to your clock once and stored only on that device. This server keeps it in memory for at most ten minutes while the clock collects it, then deletes it. No calendar data ever passes through this server; the clock talks to Google or iCloud directly. No analytics, no advertising, no third parties.
Revoking access. Remove Calendesk at myaccount.google.com/permissions, delete the app-specific password at account.apple.com, or use the clock's factory reset. Any of these makes the clock stop reading your calendar.
